ENHANCEMENTS AT THE HARVEY PLANT

This month, we are upgrading the Harvey bagging system by replacing the original 1948 machine with a newer model. Though our highly dedicated and skilled team kept the original machine functioning at full capacity, replacement parts are no longer easily accessible. Investing in new equipment will also help us increase efficiency long-term. The timeline for replacement was strategically chosen to maximize seasonal downtime when demand is lower due to the colder weather. Zero lag is expected when satisfying customer orders as we’ve built up a buffer of inventory based on projected demand.
